Paramount+ has not yet announced an official release date for the third season of its drama series "Landman." The show, starring Billy Bob Thornton, was renewed for a third season in December 2025 following record streaming numbers. However, production delays are expected to push the season's premiere into early 2027.

Filming for "Landman" Season 3 was originally slated to begin earlier, but star Billy Bob Thornton confirmed in a recent podcast appearance that production was pushed to "the end of August" in Fort Worth, Texas. This shift in the production schedule directly impacts the anticipated release date.

The series' first two seasons debuted in November of 2024 and 2025, respectively. While a November 2026 return was initially considered, the production delay makes that timeline unlikely. The Season 2 finale of "Landman" aired on January 18, 2026, and the show has been on hiatus since then.

Seasons 1 and 2 of "Landman" are currently available for streaming on Paramount+. The service offers two subscription tiers: an Essential plan for $8.99 per month with ads, and a Premium plan for $13.99 per month that is ad-free and includes Showtime titles and live CBS. Paramount+ can also be accessed as an add-on to Hulu or Amazon accounts.
