Pamela Voorhees Escalates Violence in 'Crystal Lake' Episode 6

In the sixth episode of 'Crystal Lake,' titled 'Kill Them, Mommy,' Pamela Voorhees embarks on a violent spree after a confrontation with her daughter Grace and a spectral appearance of Jason. Driven by a desire to deflect blame for the deaths of counselors Barry and Claudette, Pamela convinces Grace that drug-crazed hippies were responsible.

Pamela then proceeds to the hippies' location for a brutal massacre, described as a classic 'Friday the 13th' style rampage. The violence includes graphic depictions of campers being killed, with one scene involving a couple in a particularly gruesome manner. Harmony, one of the hippies, manages to escape in a van, while the ringleader Plato is found dead with a machete in his skull, an event Pamela attributes to Grace's actions.

The escalating violence attracts the attention of state police, who take over the investigation from local Chief Lee. Harmony is considered a suspect, while Crazy Ralph, previously arrested by Dorfman, is released by Lee. Crazy Ralph later tells Pamela about seeing a mysterious figure in the woods, leading Pamela to suspect it is Jason. She visits Jason's hidden shack, leaving supplies, but he trashes the place upon his return, leaving Pamela heartbroken.

Meanwhile, Briana, Chief Lee's sister and a reporter, investigates Bellflower Corporation. She receives files on Project Argonaut, revealing that all subjects are dead except Pamela. When she attempts to meet with a whistleblower, Dr. Landau, he is killed. A Bellflower executive, portrayed by Hamish Linklater, then meets with Briana, accepting responsibility for Project Argonaut's failures but defending the project and the company's methods as necessary for progress and innovation.

Briana becomes suspicious when the executive expresses surprise about deaths in New Jersey, realizing the meeting is a ploy to ascertain her knowledge. She escapes and alerts reporter Nate, who secures the files before Bellflower agents raid her desk. Briana takes the information to Chief Lee, concerned that Bellflower will connect her to him and target Crystal Lake. With the discovery of a second piece of broken scissors found in a human pelvis, Lee confronts Pamela, demanding an explanation. The episode ends with Pamela preparing to tell her story for the first time, leaving the full revelation for a later episode.
