Pamela Anderson has brought a burst of color to the 83rd Venice Film Festival, where she is promoting her new film, "Place to Be." Over a series of appearances since Friday, the 59-year-old actress has donned a variety of striking outfits in vibrant shades.
Anderson kicked off her festival style on Friday at the Golden Globes x Aman Beverly Hills Cocktail Party, wearing a coral pink Oscar de la Renta gown featuring a bejeweled hibiscus brooch. Her hair was styled in loose curls, complementing a natural makeup look.
Sunday evening saw Anderson attend the amfAR Gala Venezia in a custom Calvin Klein Collection gown of electric pumpkin orange, accessorized with a matching satin sash. White pointed pumps, numerous bracelets, and Old Hollywood-style curls completed the ensemble for the event, which supports AIDS research. During the gala, Anderson accepted the amfAR Award of Courage for her extensive work in HIV/AIDS advocacy. She reflected on her own hepatitis C diagnosis in the late 1990s, recalling that her doctor had given her "around 10 years to live," describing it at the time as a "death sentence."
Later on Monday, Anderson was seen in a more subdued palette, opting for a black Elisabetta Franchi suit paired with a ruffled white shirt. She completed this look with black Santoni pumps and dark sunglasses.
For the Golden Lion opening ceremony that same day, Anderson returned to vivid color with a head-to-toe Carolina Herrera outfit. The ensemble included a column skirt, a billowy chiffon top, and a matching leather clutch. Cheetah-print pumps and tortoiseshell cat-eye sunglasses added a distinctive flair.
Anderson is in Venice to promote "Place to Be," a road-trip film in which she stars alongside Ellen Burstyn and Taika Waititi. Burstyn, 93, was honored with the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at Monday's opening ceremony.
