A friend of Nolan Wells urged the teenager to "get the f–k on the boat" multiple times before departing Horn Island, where Wells later went missing and was subsequently found dead, according to Warren Hudson, who described himself as Wells' "best friend."

Hudson shared his account on "The Officer Tatum Show," detailing the events leading up to Wells' disappearance during a Fourth of July trip to the barrier island off Mississippi's Gulf Coast. Wells, 18, was found in the water two days after the boat trip. His parents and online investigators have raised questions about why his friends allegedly left him behind and possessed his phone and keys.

Hudson told host Brandon Tatum that the boat experienced issues with its bilge pump. "My buddy asked Nolan multiple times to get on the boat: ‘Nolan, get on the boat, get on the boat, we’re leaving. If you’re coming, you gotta come now,’" Hudson recounted. He added that another friend shouted, "Nolan, get the F on the boat, we’re leaving, the boat’s having issues."

Despite these pleas, Hudson stated, "And Nolan made a decision to stay out on the island."

Wells' mother, Christine Wonsley, has been vocal about seeking answers regarding her son's death. She has been supported by attorney Ben Crump and Rev. Al Sharpton during public statements about the case.
