Paige Lorenze, wife of American tennis player Tommy Paul, has spoken about a widely discussed moment during Paul's 2024 Queen's Club Championship victory where she was seen holding his neck in a public display of affection. Lorenze, 28, described the incident during an appearance on the "Not Skinny But Not Fat" podcast, calling herself "obsessed" with the viral photograph.
Lorenze stated that the photographers and reporters at the event were intensely encouraging public displays of affection, which contributed to her "overstimulated" state. She asserted that she has no regrets about the gesture, referring to it as a "death grip" and humorously remarking that she would "double down" if given the opportunity again, emphasizing her strong feelings for Paul. "I’ll claw the f–k out of that man. That’s my f–king man — would do it all again," she said.
The couple married on July 14, 2026, at Old Westbury Gardens on Long Island. Lorenze is in the process of legally changing her last name to Paul, expressing that it is an honor and that she wishes to share the surname with their future children.
Lorenze also discussed her desire for a large family, stating that Paul also wants to become a father. "We’ll have kids soon… I’m so excited. I want a lot of kids, like five or six. I just love big families," she shared. The couple announced their engagement in July 2025, after dating since 2022, having initially connected via Instagram. Paul is currently competing in the 2026 U.S. Open in New York, while Lorenze is promoting her "Dairy Boy Sport" line in the city.
