OutKick founder Clay Travis has offered a $10 million prize to host a "modern-day battle of the sexes" basketball game pitting the WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces against a boys' high school basketball state championship team. The challenge comes amid a widening debate concerning transgender athletes in women's sports, which gained recent prominence after Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham stated that biological males should not compete against biological females in women's sports.

Travis, a Fox News contributor, proposed the matchup on "The Will Cain Show," suggesting that if the WNBA is committed to inclusivity, its champion team should be capable of defeating a high school boys' team. He stated that the game would be broadcast on pay-per-view, with all proceeds going to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, and predicted it would generate substantial revenue.

"If the high school boys win, I will give them ten million dollars. If the WNBA team wins, I will give them ten million dollars," Travis said. "I think we would raise tens of millions of dollars for charity, and I'm putting my money where my mouth is."

He criticized WNBA leadership for not publicly addressing his proposal or defending Cunningham's stance on maintaining women's sports for biological females. Travis specifically called out WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert for not speaking in favor of Cunningham or the principle of women's-only competition.

"It's called the WNBA because it's the women's basketball association, right?" Travis questioned, adding that the commissioner "has not spoken out in favor of Sophie Cunningham or even just in favor of basic rules."
