After a significant delay, Moore was placed on a stretcher and transported off the field and into an ambulance. The injury forced backup quarterback Dylan Raiola into the game. Raiola completed his first pass for a 3-yard touchdown, giving the Ducks a 10-7 lead.
Moore's performance before the injury included completing eight of 10 passes for 77 yards. USC held a 7-3 lead at the time of the incident. Both teams were penalized for offsetting unsportsmanlike conduct violations.
