Oregon head coach Dan Lanning amplified his criticism of USC, referring to the Trojans' home as a destination for "Chris Brown concerts" rather than winning football games, following his team's decisive 41-27 victory.
Lanning's remarks came during a Monday appearance on the Barstool Sports podcast, where he addressed his post-game comments that targeted USC. "Full disclosure, that was a little petty, but they’ve taken plenty of shots at us," Lanning stated. "In the off-season, there were some shots taken, and somebody asked me what matters most, and I said winning. And that’s where I like to go point back to is when we get the opportunity to go play them, we’ve won."
The victory over USC marked Lanning's third consecutive win against the Trojans as the head coach for Oregon. This latest triumph was particularly notable as Oregon secured the win despite losing starting quarterback Dante Moore to a concussion in the second quarter. Backup quarterback Dylan Raiola led the team to victory.
