Anya Lacey, an OnlyFans creator who identifies as a conservative and a proponent of "tradwife" values, is facing criticism for what some perceive as a contradiction between her explicit content and her espoused beliefs. Lacey, who ranks among the top 0.01% of earners on the platform, stated in an interview that she "100% backs Trump" and does not see her profession as incompatible with her conservative ideology.
"I don’t know why it’s so unfathomable that somebody can do a job, but then also just have opinions that aren’t typical with that job," Lacey told The Post, addressing claims that she is merely using conservative rhetoric for attention or to attract a specific audience. Critics have voiced concerns on social media, with one Instagram user stating, "Selling sex and ‘traditional’ shouldn’t be in the same sentence when it comes to marriage." Another commented on the potential for her content to cause others to "fall into temptation."
Lacey, who has over one million followers on TikTok, believes her conservative views are genuine and that she has faced censorship and social media challenges due to her political leanings. She reported having accounts taken down and experiencing difficulties in collaborations with other OnlyFans creators, whom she characterized as largely liberal.
Her alignment with conservative principles, she explained, solidified during the COVID-19 pandemic. After evaluating her own viewpoints, she found common ground with many aspects of the conservative platform and began supporting Donald Trump. Lacey, originally from Chicago and now residing near Palm Beach, Florida, launched the dating website dateanya.com last year with the aim of promoting a traditional marriage model, which she defines as recognizing the husband as the head of the household, with God above all.
The website includes a "Date Me" section where potential suitors can complete an application addressing their ability to perform home repairs, their belief in God, and their stances on the First and Second Amendments. Lacey, whose parents are from Belarus and who was raised Russian Orthodox, also provides advice on her site, emphasizing the importance of guarding one's reputation, rewarding a partner's initiative, and maintaining exclusivity before intimacy.
Regarding the compatibility of her online persona and conservative dating, Lacey drew a parallel to the business world, citing Michael Jordan's quote, "Republicans buy sneakers too." She suggested that conservative men also consume explicit content, though potentially with more discretion. She acknowledged that while dating conservatives is possible, finding a husband who would be comfortable introducing her to his family presents a greater challenge.
Lacey attended a Christmas event at Mar-a-Lago in December, invited by a local political action committee. Although she saw President Trump and the First Lady from a distance, she did not have the opportunity to interact with them directly.
Looking ahead, Lacey intends to continue producing explicit content but remains open to foregoing her OnlyFans career for a suitable partner. Her long-term aspiration is to own a large property, raise a family of eight or nine children, and homeschool them, a lifestyle she would readily embrace if a partner were willing to provide for such a future.
Lacey wrote on her website, "I love God, family, country, and I’m a proud red-blooded conservative. I teach men to lead and women to choose wisely. If that triggers you, keep scrolling — you might learn something."
