Olivier Martinez Storms Out of Court During Halle Berry Restraining Order Hearing
Halle Berry's ex-husband Olivier Martinez reportedly used profanity and exited the courtroom during closed testimony in a domestic violence restraining order hearing.
Olivier Martinez, the ex-husband of Halle Berry, stormed out of a Los Angeles courtroom Tuesday during closed testimony in a domestic violence restraining order hearing.
Martinez, 60, appeared agitated and distressed as he left the Los Angeles County Superior Court with his attorney, Patrick Baghdaserians. Witnesses reported hearing Martinez use profanity during an animated discussion with his lawyer before they went to the restroom. They returned approximately five minutes later.
Halle Berry, 60, also took the stand during the proceedings, which are ongoing. Martinez is also scheduled to testify.
The testimony on Tuesday included a school staff member, Jon Hay, from the school attended by Berry and Martinez's 13-year-old son, Maceo. Hay had previously raised concerns about Maceo's behavior at school, according to court filings.
Maceo testified for nearly four hours on the first day of the hearing. Berry's 18-year-old daughter, Nahla Aubry, is expected to testify later this week.
Page Six reported that the former couple had maintained a cold demeanor towards each other during previous court appearances.
