Journalist Olivia Nuzzi is reportedly dating Shane Smith, the co-founder of Vice Media, according to a report from Page Six.

Sources told the publication that Nuzzi and Smith met in April and their relationship "began immediately." The pair have reportedly been seen together in Malibu, where both individuals reside. Insiders at Vice have reportedly stated that Nuzzi is not being considered for a position at the company, and that Smith is single.

Nuzzi previously worked as the Washington correspondent for New York Magazine. She was placed on leave pending an investigation after it was revealed she had developed a personal relationship with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. while interviewing him for the magazine during his 2024 presidential campaign. Nuzzi's contract with Vanity Fair, where she served as West Coast editor, later lapsed. Her former fiancé, Ryan Lizza, a writer for Politico, reportedly wrote about the circumstances surrounding Nuzzi's departure from New York Magazine.

Smith, a co-founder of Vice, has navigated the media company through periods of significant change, from its origins as an underground magazine to its later status as a large media corporation, bankruptcy, and subsequent restructuring efforts.
