Olivia Culpo's Family Hopes Second Baby is a Boy

The family of Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey is privately hoping their second child will be a boy, according to Culpo’s sister, Sophia.

"Across the board" the family is wishing for a son, Sophia Culpo revealed in an exclusive interview. She explained that the family currently has five nieces and one nephew, with the nephew being the eldest. "We haven’t had a boy in eight years," Sophia stated. "So we are like — we’ll be happy no matter what. But it would be really sweet to get a boy."

Culpo, who is married to San Francisco 49ers player Christian McCaffrey, and McCaffrey are already parents to a 1-year-old daughter. They announced in May that they were expecting their second child. The couple has chosen to keep the baby's gender a surprise and do not know if it will be a boy or a girl.

While the exact due date has not been publicly shared, it appears to be imminent. Olivia Culpo recently posted on TikTok that she has already packed her hospital go-bag.

Sophia Culpo also noted a difference in her older sister’s demeanor during this pregnancy compared to her first. "She knows what to expect," Sophia said of Olivia, who is 29. "She trusts herself. She trusts her instincts. And also she’s chasing a toddler. So there’s that."

In addition to Olivia's upcoming arrival, Sophia mentioned that another sibling is also expecting a child, expanding the family's number of nieces and nephews.

Sophia, who recently confirmed a new relationship, commented on the possibility of starting her own family in the future. "I think having so many nieces and nephews, I’m excited for it," she said. "But I’m also, I can wait a little."
