Olivia Culpo Responds to Pregnancy Body Shaming

Olivia Culpo has publicly addressed body shamers who have commented on her weight gain during pregnancy. In a TikTok video shared on Wednesday, the former pageant queen pushed back against what she described as "surprised" social media users who have remarked that she "really blows up" while carrying a child.

"I take a lot of pride in the fact that I am growing a baby," Culpo stated in the video. "Every time I see that I’m growing, I always think that my baby’s growing — and that means that my baby’s healthy."

Culpo, who is 37 weeks pregnant with her and husband Christian McCaffrey's second child, expressed that she has "no need to be worried" about her appearance, despite the societal pressure to maintain a certain physique. She described her changing body as "the most vulnerable" aspect of growing a family, emphasizing that she is engaged in "the most selfless thing that [she] could ever do for the best reason ever."

She acknowledged that many individuals, including herself, tend to compare their bodies to others who appear to regain their pre-pregnancy shape quickly. Culpo pointed out that these comparisons often overlook factors such as breastfeeding, the ease of labor, and individual recovery processes.

"The only thing you can control is what you’re doing as a mother for your child," Culpo concluded. "Everything else is just noise."

The "Culpo Sisters" star and McCaffrey welcomed their first child, daughter Colette, in July 2025. The current pregnancy was unexpected, as Culpo had recently shared in May that she was beginning to regain her postpartum footing. She noted that at one point, she was working out and seeing some abdominal definition, but recognized that "that’s just not what the body wants right now."

Culpo and McCaffrey, who have been together since 2019, announced their second pregnancy in May. McCaffrey proposed in 2023, and the couple married in June 2024. McCaffrey is scheduled to be present for Culpo's C-section but is expected to depart the same day for a game. Culpo commented that she feels fortunate to plan the C-section, as some partners miss the birth entirely.
