Olivia Culpo, wife of San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, has voiced concerns about the upcoming arrival of their second child and its impact on her relationship with their daughter. In a recent Instagram post, Culpo shared her worries about adapting to life with a new baby after a Cesarean section. "Any tips for navigating toddler life after a C-section? I’m worried about not being able to pick her up or do our usual routine when she’s too little to understand why 🤍," she wrote, accompanying the text with a photo of her holding her daughter.
Culpo, who had a C-section for the birth of her first child, Colette, noted that a Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC) was not an option for her second pregnancy. The prospect of recovering from another C-section while tending to a young child has prompted her to seek advice on how to manage the transition.
McCaffrey, meanwhile, continues his demanding role as a running back for the 49ers, a position that involves significant physical toll. Off the field, he and Culpo are balancing their family life, which now includes preparing for their second child.
