Olivia Culpo Discusses Pregnancy Style and Hospital Bag Essentials for Baby No. 2
The model shares insights on her maternity fashion and her preparedness for the upcoming arrival of her second child.
Olivia Culpo is preparing for the arrival of her second child with husband Christian McCaffrey and plans to pack a hospital bag similar to the one that gained attention during her first pregnancy.
"I don’t think I’ll change too much because I actually used everything I brought last time. Yes, this means I’ll be bringing back the flameless flickering candles!" Culpo told Page Six Style. She added, "I’m such a creature of comfort, and I have to admit, I really did love having every single thing I packed for my last delivery."
Culpo, who welcomed daughter Colette in July of the previous year, has collaborated with Bumpsuit on a collection featuring maternity and postpartum styles. The line includes pieces like a unitard, a long-sleeved catsuit, and a strapless gown.
"If you’ve been pregnant, you know that getting dressed and feeling like yourself can become harder and harder as you get closer to your due date. These are comfortable, easy and still make me feel pulled together," Culpo stated about the collection. She noted that while she has learned new "tips and tricks" for dressing during her second pregnancy, her overall style has remained consistent, focusing on embracing her changing body.
"I’ve always loved embracing my bump rather than trying to hide it. I’m so proud of what my body can do, and I want that to come through in the way I dress,” she shared.
In addition to her maternity wear ventures, Culpo also launched her Picolette by Olivia Culpo baby collection at Target. The line features baby essentials inspired by her daughter Colette, with designs that incorporate floral patterns and football motifs, a nod to McCaffrey's NFL career. The collection also includes items inspired by the family's dog, Oliver Sprinkles.
"Colette inspired the brand, and so many of the ideas come from what I actually want and need for my own children," Culpo said. She described juggling work and motherhood, especially during pregnancy, as demanding but found her work on Picolette to be deeply connected to her experiences as a mother.
Culpo expressed that seeing her collection become part of other families' early memories with their babies is a rewarding aspect of her work. "Knowing that Picolette might be part of another family’s earliest memories with their baby makes the work feel incredibly personal and rewarding."
