Olivia Colman, known for her early role as Sophie in the sitcom Peep Show, has undergone a significant physical transformation over her career. The 52-year-old actress recently surprised fans by debuting long, silver hair on the red carpet at a screening for her new film, Wicker, in Switzerland. This marks a departure from her decade-long trademark of a brunette pixie cut, as she embraces her natural curls and graying hair.
Colman first gained widespread recognition playing Sophie, the love interest of David Mitchell's character Mark Corrigan, in Peep Show. Her appearance in the early 2000s sitcom featured subtle changes to her hair styling each series, including curling, straightening, or adding a fringe.

Her role in the 2013 ITV crime drama Broadchurch elevated her to household name status in the UK, earning her a BAFTA TV Award for Best Actress. During this series, her hair naturally grew from a short curl to shoulder-length by its third season. Colman is currently promoting Wicker, a film described as a dark comedy with a peculiar premise. She stars as an ostracized fisherwoman who commissions a basketmaker to create a husband out of wicker. The film also features Peter Dinklage as the basket weaver and Alexander Skarsgård as the wicker man. The trailer, released in July, garnered attention for its explicit scenes.
Wicker is scheduled for release in cinemas on October 30.
