Olivia Attwood has spoken out about her experiences with infidelity, asserting that betrayal is often a reflection of the perpetrator's character rather than the victim's worth.
In a recent episode of her podcast, 'Olivia's House,' Attwood, 35, discussed her views on cheating, stating that people often cheat due to a "lack of morals and self control." She suggested that infidelity does not necessarily diminish the love or authenticity of a relationship, but rather indicates that a partner's capacity for love may not align with the other's needs. "It's never about you," Attwood emphasized, referring to the pain and betrayal experienced when being cheated on. She advised listeners to process these emotions rather than suppress them, warning that unaddressed feelings can be detrimental.
Attwood revealed that the stress from her recent breakup with footballer Bradley Dack, 32, led to a physical manifestation of her emotional distress. "I was like covered in, I'm still covered in psoriasis," she said, detailing sleepless nights and a struggle to process the end of her marriage. Despite functioning at a high level professionally, she acknowledged the internal work required to move past the experience.
Attwood and Dack separated in January, with Attwood having previously accused him of infidelity. Dack has reportedly been seen with his former flame Emily Moloney. Following this, Attwood made critical remarks about Moloney on social media. While Attwood is now in a relationship with TOWIE star Pete Wicks, she has been open about the challenges of navigating her post-breakup period.
She described her relationship with Wicks as unexpected, moving quickly from platonic to romantic. Attwood noted Wicks's intelligence, compassion, and patience as qualities she needed during her recovery. Despite receiving advice to remain single, she felt that shutting down possibilities with Wicks would be counterproductive given the connection they share, even as she continues to process the "awful" split from Dack.
