An Ohio man has been arrested by the FBI for allegedly sending graphic death threats via email to Rep. Randy Fine, a Jewish Republican congressman, and President Donald Trump. The Department of Justice stated that Alex Justin Miller, 26, is accused of transmitting a "true threat" targeting Fine and his family.

The message, obtained by Fox News Digital, reportedly referred to Fine and his family with ethnic slurs and stated the sender would "never stop until your head is hanging from the rooftops of the White House." The message concluded with "DEATH TO RANDY FINE AND DEATH TO DONALD TRUMP."

Miller faces a charge of interstate transmission of a threat to injure, which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison if convicted. The U.S. Attorney in the Middle District of Florida is prosecuting the case.

Fine described the message as "so graphic" and immediately reported it to authorities. He told Fox News Digital that he recognized the distinction between a critical message and a death threat, stating, "this clearly was a death threat."

The investigation was a joint effort involving the FBI, the Brevard County Sheriff's Office, the Secret Service, and Capitol Police. According to Fine, law enforcement located and arrested Miller within 36 hours. Fine expressed gratitude to all involved law enforcement agencies for taking the threat seriously.

He also noted that the sender was not from Florida, suggesting the motive was not from a local constituent's dispute. Fine added that members of Congress often require more security than they are provided.
