NYC Man Sought for Allegedly Throwing Partner and Baby from Balcony After Failed Reconciliation Attempt
The suspect reportedly brought flowers to reconcile with his estranged partner following domestic violence accusations before the fatal incident.

Authorities are searching for Angel Carrasco, 31, who is accused of fatally pushing his estranged partner, Nathaly Ramirez, 23, and their 5-month-old daughter from a 15th-floor balcony in the Bronx. The incident occurred on Tuesday around 3:40 a.m. at the apartment building located at 2550 Olinville Avenue.
Sources told The Post that Carrasco had brought flowers to Ramirez earlier that day in an attempt to reconcile their relationship, which had been marred by allegations of domestic violence. The reconciliation attempt reportedly escalated into a rage, leading to the alleged fatal push.
Carrasco is described as having a history of domestic violence. Earlier this year, he was charged with assault on January 5 for allegedly striking Ramirez and causing bruises after she confronted him about speaking with an ex-girlfriend. He also faced charges in another domestic incident just three days later, accused of burglary for entering Ramirez's apartment without permission. Details on that case are sealed.
Additionally, Carrasco has been accused of sending threatening text messages to a former girlfriend. His criminal record includes at least two other arrests in 2016 for false impersonation and marijuana possession, with other sealed cases.
Ramirez was pronounced dead at the scene. The couple's infant daughter was critically injured and transported to Jacobi Hospital, where she remains in stable condition. The baby is confirmed to be Carrasco's daughter.
Haunting images from the crime scene showed a diaper and a baby's blanket on the ground outside the apartment building hours after the incident. Ramirez, a graduate of Bronx Leadership Academy High School, studied psychology at Baruch and worked at Lishawn Consulting, where she was described as a dedicated and hardworking employee.
Police issued a wanted poster for Carrasco on Wednesday and have initiated an intensive manhunt for his apprehension.
