Federal investigators have released new videos and images offering a closer look at the events leading up to and following a deadly medical jet crash in Philadelphia that occurred on January 31, 2025. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) made public its docket Tuesday, containing factual information gathered during its ongoing investigation.
Some of the newly released videos depict the aircraft at Northeast Philadelphia Airport prior to takeoff. The medical jet was in the air for less than a minute before it rapidly descended and crashed along Cottman Avenue, according to a preliminary NTSB report. The crash resulted in the deaths of all eight people on board.
Investigators have not yet determined the official cause of the aircraft's fall from the sky. The released materials are part of the NTSB's comprehensive effort to understand the circumstances of the accident.
