Nova Host Lauren Phillips Battles Severe Hangover After Andy Lee and Rebecca Harding's Wedding in NYC
Phillips forced to broadcast her radio show remotely from her New York hotel room due to effects of the star-studded nuptials.
Nova radio host Lauren Phillips admitted to experiencing a debilitating hangover following the wedding celebrations of comedian Andy Lee and model Rebecca Harding in New York City.
Phillips, co-host of the Jase, Lauren & Clint show, appeared remotely via video call from her hotel room in New York on Thursday morning. She confessed to her co-hosts that she was feeling "a bit dusty" and struggling, attributing her condition to partying late into the night at the wedding.
"I am in my room and I'm going to eat through the entirety of the mini bar for the next three hours," Phillips stated, her voice strained. "I've got the room service menu open... shrimp, nachos..."
The radio personality was seen the previous evening with her fiancé, aviation tycoon Paul O'Brien, attending the nuptials. Phillips wore a draped baby pink gown, while O'Brien was in a tuxedo. The couple were observed leaving the reception in the early hours of the morning.
Lee, 45, and Harding, 36, exchanged vows at the Nine Orchard Hotel on Manhattan's Lower East Side after 12 years together. The ceremony was followed by a black-tie reception at Chinatown hotspot Apotheke, which reportedly lasted until 2:30 a.m.
The wedding was attended by numerous celebrities, including actor Hugh Jackman, comedian Hamish Blake and his wife Zoë, American comedian Nikki Glaser, and cricketer Dan Christian. This event has been described as "the party of the year."
Following their wedding, the newlyweds plan to divide their time between Melbourne and New York, where Lee has a partial ownership in an Australian pub called Old Mates.
