North West, the 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, recently appeared in a TikTok video showcasing what seemed to be silver studs under one eye and on the bridge of her nose. The clip, posted on the duo's joint account Wednesday, featured West in a black dress with a lace collar, spiked bracelets, and fake nails. Her blue-dyed hair was styled in pigtails with extensions.
The video, which has garnered nearly 1 million likes, was captioned with a zombie emoji and set to spooky music. Representatives for North West and Kardashian did not immediately respond to requests for comment from The Daily Mail.
The following day, Kim Kardashian used her Instagram platform to promote her daughter's upcoming headlining concert tour, "Kimokawii." Kardashian, 45, shared photos of North with the tour's collaborator, 21-year-old rapper Molly Santana, and posted a direct link to the tour's ticketing site. The tour is scheduled to begin on August 5 in Dallas, Texas, and conclude on August 27 in Los Angeles, with a total of 14 dates across the United States.
Kardashian's promotion of North's music career to her 344 million followers occurred shortly after the family faced criticism regarding North's interactions with adults at a Paris Fashion Week event. Rapper Skepta, 43, publicly commented on a video clip showing North being hugged by a man at the Vetements Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show. Skepta expressed that it was inappropriate for a minor to be mingling with adults in such a manner, suggesting that North's body language indicated she was not seeking a hug.
Skepta's remarks on social media platform X sparked a debate, with some users agreeing with his assessment and emphasizing the importance of protecting children. Online forum discussions reflected similar sentiments, with many users expressing concern over the exposure of young celebrities to adult environments.
North West has been building a career in entertainment, releasing her debut EP, "N0rth4evr," last month. She also performed in two concerts for "The Lion King" at the Hollywood Bowl in May 2024. Her siblings include brothers Saint, 10, and Psalm, 7, and sister Chicago, 8. Kardashian and West have both supported North's professional aspirations.
