North West, 13, showcased a striking new appearance during a recent outing with her father, Kanye West, and stepmother, Bianca Censori, in Los Angeles. The teenager, who has previously drawn attention for her evolving style and reported facial piercings, was seen sporting a dramatically shorter bob with bangs, a departure from her recent longer blue locks. She also appeared to be wearing black grillz.
During the shopping excursion on Thursday, North was dressed in baggy black pants, a black printed top, and sneakers, carrying a small black purse and wearing black shades. Censori opted for a more covered-up outfit in fitted black capri leggings and a long-sleeved black shirt, complemented by open-toed black pumps. West was casually dressed in a plain black shirt, black leather pants, and a black leather jacket with boots.
The trio visited the store H. Lorenzo. At one point, North showed Censori something on her phone, eliciting shared laughter. The two were later seen looking through clothing racks. After their time in the store, they exited and returned to an awaiting vehicle.
This outing highlights North's continued presence with West and Censori, with whom she has been seen on various occasions. In May, both West and Censori attended a Complex pop-up event celebrating North's debut EP, titled N0rth4evr.
North's recent style choices have been a topic of discussion. For her 13th birthday on June 15, she sported longer blue hair. Earlier in the month, a clip on her joint TikTok account with her mother, Kim Kardashian, showed her with what appeared to be silver studs under one eye and on the bridge of her nose, alongside long nails and spiked bracelets. Kardashian has promoted North's upcoming concert tour with rapper Molly Santana, which is set to begin August 5 in Dallas, Texas.
North has previously made notable fashion statements, including attending the Vetements Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show during Paris Fashion Week in June. There, she wore her blue hair in ponytails, a black sweatshirt, a pleated skirt, black boots, and a choker necklace, along with what appeared to be fake studs on her nose and lips.
Fan concern has been noted regarding some of North's stylistic choices, including what have been described as 'risky' finger and facial piercings. In August of the previous year, she displayed what seemed to be a dermal piercing on her right hand. In October, she posted a TikTok revealing fake face tattoos and grillz. Late last year, she responded to criticism about piercings on their shared TikTok account. In January, she seemingly revealed more finger piercings, and in the months following, shared images on Instagram showcasing what appeared to be 'face piercings' during a shopping trip. She and her father also released a song titled 'Piercing On My Hand,' seemingly in response to negative commentary.
Meanwhile, Kanye West and Bianca Censori have also been active. The couple recently completed a trip to Switzerland and attended Art Basel. West resumed his 'Ye Live In Concert Tour' in late June in Tampa, Florida, in support of his album 'Bully.' His tour has faced cancellations due to past controversial remarks, but he has continued performing in various locations, including Albania and San Antonio, Texas. Future performances are scheduled in Madrid, Spain, and Chicago.
