Thirteen-year-old North West was seen sporting a new set of faux dermal piercings on her thighs while attending dinner at Nobu in Malibu, California, on Wednesday evening. The outing saw West wearing a graphic t-shirt, a pleated miniskirt that revealed the thigh piercings, and Converse boots. She completed the look with stacks of bracelets and dark sunglasses, her blue ombre hair styled straight.

This latest addition follows a series of body jewelry explorations by West since last August. She has previously debuted faux middle-finger bling, added to her finger piercings in February, and displayed studs on the backs of her hands. In May, she featured faux under-eye piercings in her music video "#n0rth4evr." More recently, she was seen with temporary facial piercings, including nose and cheek studs and "angel bites," at the Vetements menswear show in Paris.

West has addressed her interest in body jewelry in a collaborative track with her father, Kanye West, titled "Piercing on My Hand (Ye’s Version)." In the song, she raps about her desire for more piercings and tattoos. She has also responded to critics of her body jewelry choices, using social media audio to dismiss concerns.

Her mother, Kim Kardashian, has expressed support for West's fashion experimentation, noting that her daughter and her friends enjoy costumes and creating looks. Kardashian stated in a video that she would not stifle North's creativity and that while her daughter listens to her, she supports her choices in areas like hair color, emphasizing that it makes North happy.
