A married federal prison guard at the Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey, has been charged with sexual abuse after allegedly engaging in an affair with an inmate, according to court documents. Jordan Pensak, 27, a corrections officer, is accused of exchanging over 100 sexually explicit messages, photos, and videos with the inmate.
The investigation into Pensak began when her phone was seized, revealing a trove of communications. Court documents detail texts where the inmate allegedly offered to send Pensak vibrating underwear and where Pensak expressed desire for the inmate's "big man hands."
Investigators allege that Pensak had sexual encounters with the unidentified inmate multiple times in an office at the prison starting in 2024. The inmate reportedly paid other prisoners to serve as lookouts during these encounters.
During one exchange in August 2025, the inmate texted Pensak, "I’m getting you vibrating panties," according to the complaint. Pensak also reportedly wrote about her attraction to the inmate's hands. In explicit messages, she described their encounters as "freak nast" and acknowledged that a lookout once almost discovered them.
Texts uncovered by investigators also indicate that Pensak was concerned about a potential pregnancy. In January 2026, she allegedly texted a former inmate, "Im 3 days late for my period you ready to be an uncle?" She later stated that she would not keep a potential pregnancy, as it would "make the investigation 1000x worse." Pensak reportedly reached out to the inmate's family about the scare, writing that she "kind of wish I was [pregnant] just to know it’s possible."
Pensak also allegedly told a friend that her relationship with the inmate involved "both" sex and contraband. When questioned about potential criminal charges, she reportedly responded, "Yes I know."
A spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed that Pensak has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the criminal proceedings. She has been charged with sexual abuse and released on bail. If convicted, she faces a maximum of 15 years in prison.
