A Morris County, New Jersey, man placed a frantic 911 call in early June requesting CPR instructions after discovering his wife unconscious and bloody on their home floor. Investigators later determined Brooke Hanlon, 35, died from multiple sharp force injuries.
Conor Hanlon, the victim's husband, can be heard in the released audio of the 911 call expressing distress and asking the operator for immediate CPR guidance. "I just found my wife (inaudible) CPR, I need CPR instructions," he stated in the call. "I need you here. I need to here immediately."
Responding to the operator's questions, Hanlon is heard screaming "No!" when asked if his wife was bleeding and unconscious. The recording also captures him hyperventilating and repeatedly saying, "Oh, oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god."
Brooke Hanlon was found dead in her Chester, New Jersey, home on June 6. The Morris County Prosecutor's Office confirmed the cause of death. Conor Hanlon has since obtained legal representation and has been in communication with investigators, according to the prosecutor's office. The couple's infant child is reportedly staying with family in Brighton, Massachusetts.
