A corrections officer at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey, has been charged with engaging in a sexual relationship with an inmate. Federal investigators allege that Jordan Pensak, the officer, had multiple sexual encounters with the inmate beginning in 2024.
According to court documents, the inmate paid other prisoners to serve as lookouts during these encounters. The alleged affair is said to have been ongoing for over a year. Investigators discovered sexually explicit messages, photos, and videos exchanged between Pensak and the inmate on two contraband cell phones used by the prisoner. A search warrant for an Instagram account reportedly showed the pair discussing their relationship and professing their love from August 2025 to January 2026.
Investigators also revealed evidence of a pregnancy scare. In a text message dated January 29, Pensak allegedly wrote to an unidentified person, "Im 3 days late for my period you ready to be an uncle?" In another text, she reportedly expressed concern about the potential implications, stating, "That aint good for the investigation. If the baby black and my husband white and Korean?!"
Pensak reportedly admitted to having a sexual relationship with an inmate that had been ongoing for approximately one year, according to texts seized from her personal cellphone. She also acknowledged knowing she was committing a crime.
FCI Fort Dix is a low-security federal prison located at Joint Base McGuire-Dix Lakehurst. Pensak was issued a criminal summons by the FBI and was scheduled to appear in federal court. The Federal Bureau of Prisons and FCI Fort Dix have not yet commented on the matter.
