Nikki Webster's Daughter Skylah Embarks on Acting Career

Nikki Webster's 12-year-old daughter, Skylah McMah, is following in her mother's footsteps as she launches an acting career. Skylah recently attended the premiere of SIX the Musical at Theatre Royal Sydney with her mother and younger brother, Malachi, eight. The pre-teen, who shares a strong resemblance to the "Strawberry Kisses" singer, donned a sequined dress for the occasion, while Webster opted for a mermaid-inspired, opalescent sequined gown.

Skylah's burgeoning acting career includes a recent theatre debut in the Australian production of the musical Annie, where she played the role of orphan Kate. Webster expressed immense pride in her daughter's hard work and determination. "She's been so driven and determined," Webster told Woman's Day. "All I wanted for her was to have the experience of going through auditions, so the fact that she got a role is just amazing."

Skylah shared her excitement about landing the part, recalling her mother's joyful reaction. "I was crying. All I remember is mum screaming, 'You're in Annie, you're in Annie!'" she said. The mother-daughter duo has also appeared together on "The Morning Show," performing a rendition of Webster's hit song "Strawberry Kisses." In a previous appearance on the show in 2025, Skylah impressed viewers with her acrobatic skills.

Webster, who rose to fame at 13 performing at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, saw her 2001 hit single "Strawberry Kisses" become an unofficial anthem for the Australian Women's Soccer Team, the Matildas, during the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. Skylah's foray into theatre marks a significant step in her own performing arts journey.
