The video, which aired before the Chiefs' game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football, was perceived by many viewers as overly promotional and lacking neutrality.

Glaser, a self-proclaimed Swiftie and roast comic, directed the video towards Swift and Kelce, while also addressing critics of the couple and the Chiefs. "When you're on top of your game, everybody roots for your downfall," Glaser said in the clip. "People love dynasties to die and for chaps to become chumps."

The video also featured Glaser in a custom dress designed to resemble a Kelce jersey, with the words "Taylor's Husband" printed on the back where Kelce's name would typically appear. She further commented on Swift's perceived permanent presence at Chiefs games and expressed a desire for more on-camera moments featuring the singer. "It's safe to say the world's greatest singer-songwriter is now a permanent fixture at Arrowhead," Glaser stated.

Swift herself was in attendance for the game and was shown on camera celebrating after Kelce scored a touchdown, his first of the season. The broadcast cameras cut to Swift in her luxury box, cheering on Kelce.

However, the promo generated significant negative reactions on social media. Many viewers expressed frustration with the segment's perceived bias, with comments on X (formerly Twitter) calling the video "nauseating" and "a joke." One user questioned why the Colts, the opposing team, did not receive similar promotional treatment. Another comment suggested the segment was evidence of a "PR stunt." Glaser's attire and commentary were central to the backlash, with some viewers feeling the broadcast was not neutral.

Despite the viewer criticism, the Chiefs ultimately defeated the Colts, with Kelce's touchdown contributing to their victory. The game was broadcast on NBC and Peacock.
