Comedian Nikki Glaser recently shared details about the wedding of pop star Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, describing the event as “wild” and “the best night of my life.” Glaser recounted her experience during her residency at Caesars Palace Las Vegas.
Glaser stated she received an invitation to the wedding months in advance, an event she described as a surprise given her lack of personal connection to the couple. She recounted the strict non-disclosure agreements guests had to sign, joking about a potential sniper if she revealed too much. Due to these agreements, Glaser turned in her phone and was “off the grid for 12 hours” during the ceremony and reception, leaving her family and friends unaware of her whereabouts.
Despite the inability to capture any evidence, Glaser expressed that the wedding was an unparalleled experience for her as a fan of Swift. She described witnessing “the purest love” and called it the “coolest thing” she had ever seen. The comedian also noted the presence of many high-profile guests, including Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Spielberg, and Julia Roberts. Glaser observed that some celebrities, who are typically accompanied, attended the event alone.
Swift and Kelce reportedly held their wedding ceremony at Madison Square Garden on July 3, with approximately 1,000 guests in attendance. While few details have been officially released, both Swift and Kelce have alluded to the event. Kelce previously described the wedding as a “crazy night” filled with celebration and called it the “best night of my life” during his team’s training camp in July. He also expressed gratitude to Madison Square Garden for providing an intimate and genuine setting for the nuptials on his podcast “New Heights.”
During the event, guests reportedly received party favors, including monogrammed handkerchiefs. The couple has maintained a relatively private stance on their wedding, despite their public profiles.
