Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has shared an update following her hysterectomy surgery, admitting that her recovery has been challenging. Polizzi, 38, posted a video on TikTok from her hospital bed on Friday, marking the completion of the procedure. She also shared a photo of her post-surgery meal, consisting of curly fries with ketchup.

The "Jersey Shore" alum revealed in April that she was scheduled to undergo the surgery after being diagnosed with Stage 1 cervical cancer in February. She had previously expressed anxiety about the surgery, stating she was "not great with pain" and that the thought of removing an organ was "scary."

Polizzi shared that the surgery involved removing her uterus, cervix, and parts of her vagina to ensure all cancerous cells were removed. She documented her surgery day in a lengthy video, showing her parents driving her to the hospital and admitting she was "literally terrified" as she was taken to the operating room.

Following the procedure, Polizzi stated in a video that she was "not great" due to a "C-section cut" but was making an effort to "stay optimistic." She became emotional in the video, apologizing for her tears and saying, "it's just been a lot."

Her "Jersey Shore" co-star Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola offered words of support, calling Polizzi the "strongest badass" and wishing her well on her recovery. Fans also flooded her comment section with supportive messages, with one fan writing, "Recovery sucks… and then one day, it is all over, you’re healed, and it is all behind you… you got this… take it easy and heal."

Polizzi, who shares three children with her husband Jionni LaValle, had previously expressed sadness about no longer being able to have more children, a sentiment she shared before undergoing the surgery.
