Nicole Scherzinger became emotional upon discovering she will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a moment she shared with her fiancé, Thom Evans. The singer, 48, captured the reaction in a video posted to Instagram, showing her disbelief as she watched a television broadcast announcing the latest honorees.
"Why did she call my name? I'm not getting a star!" Scherzinger exclaimed in the video, turning to Evans, who comforted her. "Wait, I just, I don't understand like a real, like a real star, how?"
Evans assured her she was a deserving "star." Scherzinger, visibly moved to tears, responded, "I cannot believe this. I haven't even been on SNL."
She captioned the post, "Dreams really do come true. I am receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!!! I can hardly believe it!!! I am overwhelmed and so grateful! Look at God!"

The announcement comes as Scherzinger's band, The Pussycat Dolls, recently announced their comeback. However, the group was forced to cancel the entire U.S. leg of their "PCD FOREVER Tour" due to low ticket sales. Originally planned as a 53-date run across the UK, Europe, and North America, the band had to scrap 33 dates in the U.S. and Canada.

Despite efforts to boost sales, including reducing ticket prices to $30, organizers ultimately pulled the plug on the North American dates just a month before the first scheduled show in Palm Desert, California. The band cited a "difficult and heartbreaking decision" after an "honest look at the North American run."

In contrast, the UK and European dates for the tour are proceeding as planned, with the band reporting an "incredible" response and several sold-out shows. The trio intends to make the European shows a "true celebration of the music and the memories."

The Pussycat Dolls' reunion has been met with controversy, as founding members Carmit Bachar and Jessica Sutta stated they were not invited to participate. Sutta described the situation as a "cash grab," while Bachar expressed disappointment but pride in her past contributions to the group.
