Nicole Scherzinger sustained a significant burn on her leg from boiling water approximately one hour before a Pussycat Dolls concert in Düsseldorf. Despite the injury, Scherzinger proceeded with the performance.
She shared the incident on her Instagram Story, showing a leg with blisters and dark marks, stating, "Nothing like boiling water falling on your leg an hour before your set — But the show must go on." Scherzinger also expressed gratitude to the Düsseldorf audience, noting they helped her continue, and looked forward to performing in Amsterdam.
The singer, 48, was on tour with the Pussycat Dolls, which includes bandmates Kimberly Wyatt and Ashley Roberts. The group performed at the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf and were scheduled to play in Amsterdam.
This tour has seen Scherzinger enjoying her time in Europe. Recently, she shared a video on Instagram of herself dancing in Paris with her fiancé, Thom Evans. The couple became engaged in June 2023.
Previously, the Pussycat Dolls had canceled their North American tour dates in May, citing poor ticket sales. A source familiar with the situation described the band as a "low-ticket audience brand," suggesting that ticket prices would need to remain low to attract sufficient attendees.
Despite the tour's previous challenges, Scherzinger has continued to share her experiences on social media, including a recent post about performing in Warsaw, Poland, which held personal significance due to her Polish ancestry.
