Nicolas Cage Stars as John Madden in New Amazon Biopic

Amazon has released the trailer for its upcoming biographical film, "Madden," starring Nicolas Cage as the legendary football coach and broadcaster. The film is set to premiere globally on Prime Video on November 18.
The trailer offers a first look at Cage portraying Madden, who was not only a famed NFL coach and broadcaster but also the inspiration behind EA's popular Madden video game franchise.
The movie's narrative follows Madden after he stepped down from coaching the Oakland Raiders, a team he led to a Super Bowl victory in 1977. Following his forced retirement due to health issues, Madden transitioned into an NFL analyst role and became instrumental in the creation of one of the best-selling video games.
The R-rated sports biopic features a notable cast, with Christian Bale portraying Raiders owner Al Davis. David O. Russell is directing the film.
Other cast members include John Mulaney as EA founder Trip Hawkins, Kathryn Hahn as Madden's wife Virginia, Sienna Miller as Al Davis' wife Carol, and Shane Gillis as former Raiders quarterback Ken Stabler.
"Madden" will be released in theaters on November 11, with a subsequent streaming debut on Prime Video on November 18.
