Nicolas Cage, 62, was seen with a gray beard and matching hair at a rare red carpet appearance alongside his wife, Riko Shibata, 31. The couple attended the opening night celebration for the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Cage sported a blue tuxedo jacket, black trousers, and a white dress shirt, accessorized with sunglasses. Shibata wore an all-white ensemble, including white trousers, a matching top, and a white coat with sheer sleeves.
The actor and Shibata met in 2019 in Japan while Cage was filming "Prisoners of the Ghostland." They began dating the following year but were separated for six months due to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. Cage announced their engagement in August 2020, stating he proposed over FaceTime and sent her a black diamond ring.
The couple married on February 16, 2021, in Las Vegas. They welcomed their first child together, a daughter named August, in September 2022. Cage also has two sons from previous relationships: Weston, with Christina Fulton, and Kal-El, with Alice Kim.
