Rapper Nicki Minaj has shared her perspective on career progression for young Americans and staunchly defended her endorsement of President Donald Trump. In an exclusive interview with "The Ingraham Angle," Minaj detailed her rise from early jobs, including working at Red Lobster and in customer service, to achieving global music success.

"I did customer service for telephone companies. I was a telemarketer. I sold fire extinguishers. I did everything," Minaj told Fox News. She emphasized the lasting value of these early experiences, stating, "The things that I learned during that time in my life, it still helps me today." She advised young people to embrace these formative periods, noting that the skills developed, such as people and communication skills, are transferable and crucial for future success, regardless of immediate financial rewards.

Minaj also discussed her financial habits, recommending that young Americans save money consistently, "no matter how little" they earn.

Support for President Trump

Minaj addressed her vocal support for President Donald Trump, describing him as "fun," "smart," and "grounded." She highlighted her participation as a celebrity judge in the Small Business Administration’s Million Dollar Pitch Competition, an initiative by the Trump administration. "Small business represents the heart of the country," Minaj stated during the event, emphasizing that recognition is possible for businesses of all sizes.

When asked about criticism she faces for her political stance, Minaj responded that she has "absolutely nothing" to say to critics and feels "honored" to collaborate with the administration. She expressed a personal connection with the President, noting, "He's very grounded. It's easy to connect with him, it's easy feel like he heard you, he understands you. And I just love him, and I'm not going to ever make excuses for that."

Future Projects

Regarding her music career and potential tours, Minaj indicated that she is currently focused on her "businesswoman era." She told host Laura Ingraham that she would embark on new tours only after presenting her fans, known as "Barbz," with her next body of work. "Barbz, I love you very much if you're watching, and I don't want any more questions about concerts. I'm in my businesswoman era," she added.
