Attorneys argue the funds are needed for basic commissary items as a larger trust dispute continues.

Attorneys for Nick Reiner, who is awaiting trial for the alleged murders of his parents Rob and Michele Reiner, have requested $300 from his family's trust to cover essential commissary items while he is incarcerated.
During a hearing Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Reiner's legal team asked a judge to deposit the sum into his jail account. The request was framed as a "quality of life issue," with one attorney emphasizing the modest amount in relation to the substantial trust fund that remains the subject of an ongoing legal dispute.
Reiner, 33, faces charges in connection with the deaths of his parents.
