Nick Reiner Appears Anxious During Latest Court Hearing
Supporters attend the court proceeding for the accused murderer, son of actor-director Rob Reiner.

Nick Reiner, accused of murder, displayed signs of anxiety during his most recent court appearance, rocking in his chair as supporters were present in the Los Angeles Superior Court. Reiner, 33, son of actor-director Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner, appeared more on edge than usual.
During the hearing, he maintained eye contact with the judge and his legal team while responding to them. Reiner was seen wearing handcuffs on both wrists, though they were not connected to each other or fastened to his chair. He also sported a new hairstyle, with his hair cut short except for prominent sideburns, and his face clean-shaven.
At least two individuals identified as fans were seated in the courtroom gallery, and they did not appear to be close family members. This hearing on Wednesday was a continuation from an earlier session on October 7. Judge Sam Ohta announced that the hearing would be further extended to January 13. "He was indicted unbeknownst to his counsel," Ohta stated on Wednesday, indicating that he deemed it appropriate to grant the defense team additional time. The judge argued that public access to grand jury transcripts and exhibits that led to Reiner's July indictment was not of greater importance than the defendant's rights.
