Nick and Vanessa Lachey Relist Los Angeles Home for $8.19 Million
The couple is selling their Tarzana residence for the third time, citing a desire to 'start a new chapter.'
Nick and Vanessa Lachey have once again listed their Los Angeles home in Tarzana, this time with an asking price of $8.19 million. This marks the third time the couple has put the property on the market since they first purchased it in December 2020.
The decision to sell comes as the Lacheys and their three children—Camden, 14, Phoenix, 9, and Brooklyn, 11—are preparing to leave California for a new chapter, according to listing brokers Mauricio Umansky and Craig Knizek of The Agency.
The East Coast-traditional-style home, built in 2014, is situated on a three-quarter-acre lot in a gated cul-de-sac and offers views of the San Fernando Valley.
The residence spans 6,855 square feet and features five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and two powder rooms. Among its amenities are an "entertainer's bar with a wine room" capable of holding over 500 bottles, a home theater seating eight, a home office, multiple fireplaces, hardwood floors, and glass walls that frame the mountain and valley views.
The main level includes a formal dining room, a living room with coffered ceilings and built-in bookcases, and pocket doors leading to a covered outdoor area. The chef's kitchen boasts two center islands and a breakfast bar.
Upstairs, the primary bedroom suite includes a private balcony with panoramic views, two walk-in closets, and a spa-like bathroom.
Exterior features include a full-length lighted basketball court, which can also be used for pickleball or volleyball, a swimming pool, an outdoor kitchen, and a firepit.
The Lacheys' ownership journey with the property has been notable. They initially purchased the home for approximately $5 million in December 2020 from former NFL player Randall Cobb. In February 2022, they sold it for $6.26 million in an off-market transaction to tennis star Naomi Osaka.
Under Osaka's ownership, the home's footprint was expanded with the addition of an 800-square-foot guest house that included a bedroom, gym, spa bath, and kitchenette. Despite these additions, the Lacheys repurchased the property for $7.95 million in August 2025, apparently drawn back to the home's features and its reimagined layout.
This transaction occurred after the couple had purchased another home in Encino for $6.8 million in July 2024, which they subsequently sold at a loss for $6.15 million in June.
"It's rare to have so many coveted attributes in one house. It has everything that every buyer wants – views, land and private security," Knizek told Gimme Shelter.
