Nick and Vanessa Lachey List California Mansion Amid Second Move Out of State
The couple is selling their Tarzana home for the second time in four years as they depart California.
Nick and Vanessa Lachey have once again listed their Tarzana property, signaling their departure from California for the second time in four years. The couple is preparing for a new chapter, moving out of the state they have called home.
This marks the second time the Lacheys have put this particular residence on the market. They originally purchased the home in 2020. In 2022, they sold it to tennis player Naomi Osaka before repurchasing it in 2024 upon their return from Hawaii. The family had relocated to Hawaii in 2022 for Vanessa Lachey's television show, "NCIS: Hawaii," which was canceled after its third season.
According to The Agency, which is handling the listing, the Lacheys expressed fondness for their "dream home," stating they "loved living" there and that it "provided so many great memories." They expressed happiness and excitement for the next family to inhabit the property and continue to cherish it.
The Tarzana residence, built in 2015, features five bedrooms and five full bathrooms, along with two powder rooms, situated on three-quarters of an acre behind electronic gates. The grounds include landscaped gardens, a built-in bar and grill, a playhouse, a tennis/basketball court, and a swimming pool. Inside, the home offers a large open-plan living area, a chef's kitchen with marble countertops and high-end appliances, a games room with a wet bar, a media room, and a fitness room. The primary suite on the second floor includes a stainless steel fireplace and a terrace, with a main bathroom featuring a marble tub, steam shower, and a fireplace.
The Lacheys, married since 2011, share three children: Camden, Phoenix, and Brooklyn. Nick Lachey first gained fame as a member of the band 98 Degrees and later starred in the reality show "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica" with his then-wife, Jessica Simpson. The show concluded in 2005, the same year Simpson filed for divorce. Earlier this year, Lachey recounted a chance encounter with Simpson on a flight to Hawaii, noting it had been approximately 20 years since they had last seen each other.
