NFL Wives Clash Over Bedtime Relationship Advice
Claire Kittle and Haley Cavinder offer conflicting takes on whether couples should go to bed angry.

The wives of two prominent NFL tight ends, George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers and Jake Ferguson of the Dallas Cowboys, have revealed differing views on a common relationship advice topic: whether couples should go to bed angry.
During an episode of the podcast "The Kittle Things," George Kittle shared a listener's question about what advice his wife, Claire Kittle, would offer to Ferguson and his new wife, Haley Cavinder.
George recounted Claire's primary piece of advice: "don’t go to bed angry. And always say good night, and give each other a kiss before you go to bed." Claire elaborated, stating that even if she is upset with George, she still offers a goodnight kiss.
However, Cavinder presented a contrasting perspective, calling it a "hot take" that couples should, in fact, go to bed angry. She explained her reasoning, suggesting that sleeping on disagreements allows for calmer, more rational conversations in the morning. "I feel so much better in the morning, when my emotions are calm and cool," Cavinder said. "It can always wait the next morning."
Claire Kittle countered this by stating her preference to address issues immediately. "I feel like I’d just rather get it over with, and talk about it. It’s fresh in my brain; I know verbatim what you said. Let’s chat about it," she said. "And then In the morning, our day is starting, and we’re busy. We’re not changing the schedule to talk about it."
The two couples, despite their differing views on this specific relationship dynamic, appeared to be guests on the podcast episode, highlighting a lighthearted disagreement between the wives of the two NFL stars.
