NFL's First Quarterback-Cheerleader Sibling Duo Makes History
The league has a new historic pair as Kylie Beck joins the Miami Dolphins cheerleading squad while her brother, Carson Beck, plays for the Arizona Cardinals.
The National Football League has a new historic sibling duo: Kylie Beck, a first-year Miami Dolphins cheerleader, and her brother, Carson Beck, a quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals. This pairing marks the first time in the league's history that a brother and sister have simultaneously held these roles within the same season.
Kylie Beck announced her new position with the Dolphins in June, expressing her excitement on Instagram. "When I go to write this caption, I am beyond speechless at the fact that I get to say I am a MIAMI DOLPHINS CHEERLEADER!" she wrote.
Her brother, Carson Beck, was concurrently preparing for his rookie season with the Cardinals. The Dolphins and Cardinals are not scheduled to play each other this season, meaning their parents will not have to navigate the familial allegiances that have challenged families of other NFL sibling duos, such as the Kelces and Mannings.
This unprecedented development in the NFL adds a unique chapter to the league's history, highlighting new family connections within professional football.
