NFL Reviews Official's Interaction With Cardinals' Trey McBride
CBS sideline reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala stated line judge Jeff Seeman allegedly cursed at tight end Trey McBride after McBride pleaded for a pass interference call.

The NFL is reviewing an incident involving line judge Jeff Seeman and Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride during Sunday's game against the New York Giants. A video circulating online appears to show Seeman saying "f--k you" to McBride twice.
According to CBS sideline reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala, who was present during the altercation, the exchange began when McBride was arguing for a pass interference penalty in the fourth quarter. Kinkhabwala stated that McBride's initial words were "please," and that the harshest he got was, "You’re ruining the game." She indicated that she did not hear any profanity from the player.
The incident occurred during the Cardinals' 36-24 loss to the Giants at MetLife Stadium. McBride, a two-time Pro Bowler, was seen gesturing toward the CBS camera after the interaction, seemingly aware that the exchange was being recorded.
JC Tretter, executive director of the NFL Players Association, called for accountability for Seeman's actions. "This kind of behavior from an official towards a player is unacceptable," Tretter wrote on X. "Players are consistently held accountable when the roles are reversed. We expect the NFL to hold officials to the same standard."
NFL rules stipulate that unsportsmanlike conduct includes "abusive, threatening, or insulting language or gestures to opponents, teammates, officials, or representatives of the League."
The league has not yet released the findings of its review. The Cardinals, now 1-3, are scheduled to host the Detroit Lions next Sunday, while the Giants, at 3-1, will face the Washington Commanders.
