NFL Fans Call for Super Bowl Anthem Performance After 'Amazing' Monday Night Rendition

Football fans are urging the NFL to select singer Morgan St Jean to perform the national anthem at the upcoming Super Bowl following her performance on Monday Night Football. St Jean sang the Star-Spangled Banner at SoFi Stadium, the same venue scheduled to host the Super Bowl in February.

Viewers took to social media platform X, formerly Twitter, to express their admiration for St Jean's rendition. Many praised her vocal performance, with some comparing her to previous acclaimed anthem singers.

"Just heard one of the best renditions of our National Anthem since Whitney," one user wrote. Another commented, "She killed that anthem."

A significant number of fans suggested St Jean should be chosen for the Super Bowl. "Beautiful anthem. Wow! Get her out there for the Super Bowl in this building. Morgan St Jean, heck of a job," posted one viewer.

However, not all reactions were positive, with some users questioning the widespread praise. One dissenting comment on social media read, "How long have you been deaf?"

St Jean, who describes herself as a "feminist pop singer," performed the anthem ahead of the Bills-Rams game.
