Newlywed Annie Knight Reveals Jealousy Fueled Engagement
The adult film star confirmed that an interaction with a US influencer prompted her now-husband, Henry Brayshaw, to propose.
Annie Knight is currently on her honeymoon in Boracay, Philippines, with her new husband, Henry Brayshaw. The couple, who married on the Gold Coast earlier this month, are sharing glimpses of their getaway on social media. Knight posted photos and videos of their activities, including sunset dinners and boat rides, captioning the moments as "Perfect honeymoon after six months of nonstop craziness." The honeymoon posts followed revelations by US influencer Ryan Pownall that Knight had kissed him two days before her engagement to Brayshaw. Pownall, 34, shared a clip of the interaction, stating that he had met Knight and Brayshaw at dinner, where Knight flirted with him and kissed him in front of Brayshaw. He recalled Knight dismissing Brayshaw as just a friend at the time, saying, "He's not my f***ing man!"
Pownall expressed surprise at the couple's subsequent engagement, stating, "48 hours later they go on some BFF dinner. He proposed, she said yes." He also claimed that Brayshaw's engagement post made a jab at him, suggesting he was the winner. Knight has since confirmed Pownall's account to the Daily Mail, admitting that her romance with Brayshaw intensified after the encounter with Pownall. "Ryan and I didn't date. We met in Cancún for Spring Break. We flirted for quite a bit, before Henry and I were together," Knight stated. "Went to dinner with Ryan, Henry and three of Ryan's friends, we were definitely flirting a lot."
Knight believes that seeing her flirt with Pownall may have been the catalyst for Brayshaw's realization of his feelings. "The next day, Henry asked me to be his girlfriend. A day or two after that, he proposed!" she said. "As much as I hate to admit it, I think seeing me with Ryan made Henry jealous. It was probably what made him realise he was in love with me." Knight became engaged to Brayshaw in March 2025 during a trip to Los Angeles, and the couple tied the knot on October 1 at The Valley Estate in Currumbin Valley.
