Police in East Greenbush, New York, are intensifying their search for Dominick Bianchi, a 35-year-old newlywed who has been missing since Tuesday morning. Detective Sergeant Michael Guadagnino of the East Greenbush Police Department stated that investigators are "exhausting all investigative techniques" in the effort to locate Bianchi.
Bianchi was last seen at his home on Tuesday around 10 a.m. He left behind his cellphone, wallet, and car, adding to the urgency of the search. Guadagnino confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and that updates will be provided through press releases if new information becomes available.
Bianchi's wife, Julianna Zyra, whom he married a few months ago, appealed to her husband through local media, urging him to return home and seek help. Zyra revealed that Bianchi has been dealing with mental health issues for an extended period.
Adding to the family's concerns is Bianchi's diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes. Relatives are worried he may not have his necessary insulin medication with him. Bianchi is described as 5-foot-11-inches tall, and was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, black sweatpants, and possibly a baseball hat.
He has several distinctive tattoos, including a skull and roses on his chest, a baseball on his right arm, and a cross on his back. Police are asking residents in the area to check their properties, including sheds and vehicles, and to review any home surveillance footage for any signs of Bianchi.
