A new song mysteriously appeared on singer D4vd's Spotify page while the artist, whose real name is David Burke, remains incarcerated on murder charges. The track, titled "Marcescence," is approximately 2 minutes and 40 seconds long and is visible but unplayable on his Spotify profile.

A accompanying image shows Burke appearing to take a bathroom mirror selfie. A YouTube video with the same run time as the Spotify track features Burke posing in a mirror before shifting to roadway scenes. Listeners have speculated that the song is the unreleased track "I Think She Knows," based on the video's lyrics.

Burke was charged on April 20 with the murder of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose remains were found in the trunk of his Tesla. He is also facing charges including lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under 14 and mutilation of a body. Burke has pleaded not guilty to all charges. He had a lengthy relationship with Hernandez, who was 14 at the time of her death. Burke is currently awaiting a preliminary hearing scheduled for July 21.
