Ozlo, a sleep technology company founded by former Bose engineers, has released its second-generation Sleepbuds, designed to address common sleep disruptions like snoring partners and ambient noise. The earbuds utilize a proprietary noise-masking technology, eschewing active noise cancellation, to create a quieter sleep environment.
These new Sleepbuds offer a 14-hour battery life, which the company claims surpasses many competitors and allows for uninterrupted sleep throughout the night. Users can select from a library of built-in sleep sounds, including nature soundscapes and white noise, or stream their own audio content such as podcasts or music. Once the user falls asleep, the earbuds can automatically transition to patented built-in sounds.
The Ozlo Sleep App accompanies the earbuds, providing users with insights into their sleep patterns. The app monitors sleep stages, detects noise disturbances, and analyzes environmental factors like room temperature and light exposure to offer a comprehensive view of sleep quality.
Reviews highlight the effectiveness of the noise-masking capabilities. One user reported that the earbuds were the "only thing that work" for masking the snoring of a husband and a dog, stating, "I will save my Ozlo Sleepbuds in a fire."
For a limited time, purchases of the Ozlo Sleepbuds, priced at $279, include a complimentary Ozlo Sleep Mask and Travel Case, valued at $337.
