A new ransom letter alleges the existence of a video showing Nancy Guthrie with her alleged kidnapper, according to reports. The letter, emailed to TMZ, also claims to contain photos of those involved, along with names, addresses, and ages.
The individual, believed to be the same person responsible for previous ransom notes, stated that the evidence is stored on a phone kept in a secure location. The letter describes the video as a "short video of the main guy with nancy the day that was probably her last."
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department, which is leading the investigation into Nancy Guthrie's disappearance, confirmed that the case remains active. A department representative told Page Six that investigators are working closely with the FBI to follow up on leads and review information.
Nancy Guthrie was reported missing on Feb. 1. The investigation is ongoing.
