Newly surfaced photographs appear to show a syringe in the bedroom of U.S. Representative Max Miller, a Republican congressman endorsed by former President Donald Trump. The images, reportedly taken by his ex-wife Emily Moreno, could corroborate her claims of finding needles near Miller's bed, a detail he denied in a recorded conversation.

Moreno, who is the daughter of Republican Senator Bernie Moreno of Ohio, has accused Miller of domestic abuse. While Miller has vehemently denied these allegations, he released audio recordings of private conversations between the two in an attempt to prove his innocence.

In one of the released recordings, Moreno confronts Miller about drug use, stating, "First it was weed, then I found needles next to your bed. I took a picture of it. You can try to deny it to me." She described this discovery as a significant reason for leaving him.

Miller, however, is heard on the recording denying the presence of needles, stating, "It's not a thing. And you didn't find it next to a bed... It's not mine. I can tell you 1,000 percent I've never had a needle in my bedroom drawer." He also invoked a "Jewish word of honor" and offered to take a drug test.

In a separate recording, Miller admitted to undergoing testosterone replacement therapy and claimed he had been open about it with Moreno. The new photograph of the syringe does not specify its contents, origin, or use.

Another photograph obtained by the Daily Mail appears to show Miller holding a bag of high-potency marijuana gummies. The bag is labeled "Mighty Munchies" and contains 2,400mg of THC across 16 gummies, with each gummy containing 15 times the legal limit for edibles in California. The bag includes California's cannabis regulatory symbol and a federal warning about containing a Schedule I controlled substance. There is no indication in the image that Miller consumed these gummies or that they belonged to him.

A third photograph shows a business card for "Smoke & Dagger," a delivery service advertising itself as "DC's most discrete cannabis delivery." The card was reportedly found near keys and personal effects belonging to Miller.

These images were reportedly taken during Miller's relationship with Moreno. The photos have not appeared in any court filings related to the dueling lawsuits between the former couple. Miller has not been charged with a crime.

Senator Bernie Moreno publicly called for his former son-in-law's resignation, stating on X that Miller "should not serve in the House of Representatives" and described him as a danger to his daughter.

Miller, first elected in 2022, is facing a deadline of August 5 to withdraw from his re-election race. He pledged in a video on X to remain in the race and stated he would win in November, while reiterating his denial of abuse allegations.

Former President Trump, who has endorsed Miller, commented on the situation, calling it "a very sad thing" and stating that the claims are currently accusations. He added that he knows Miller to be a good person and would let the families resolve the matter.
